I started out really liking this place when I brought my son here—Dr. Connell and the staff (at the time) were great. Fast-forward to our last appointment. We made an appointment with Dr. Connell as usual. Got to the place, paid in advance (bad idea but they force you to pay before your child is seen), and my son got into the chair. “Keta,” who apparently is a new dentist there, but didn’t introduce herself, handled the cleaning, flossing, and fluoride. My son was in and out of there in like 7 minutes during her rush job with him. I was sitting in the room while she whipped through the appointment is lightening speed. As she was applying fluoride, I could clearly see that she had not applied it to my son’s lower teeth. I said to her “hey, you missed the lower teeth.” However, she denied that she did. I was sitting 3 feet away, and could clearly see that she did not. I’m thinking to myself, why not just do it again, or say you THOUGHT you did, but appease me and do it again. Nope. She refused. Anyhow, we left the appointment and when I got to the front desk, I told the person there that I felt my son did not get a thorough checkup and cleaning, and was disappointed by the service. I was told that I would get a call back from the office manager to discuss. Nobody ever called me back. A week or so later I actually called the office to speak with someone, but again, no call back. I then sent an email to them, to which they never replied. At the very least I had expected an apology or an offer to return for a fluoride application. But nope--didn’t happen. Alas, I am glad we are looking elsewhere at this point. If they can’t handle a basic “customer service” type discussion, or attempt to make something right, I certainly would not expect them to step up in an emergency or with anything serious. And a special note to Dr. Connell: if you are unable to be there when scheduled, you should have the courtesy to let your patients know. Imagine walking in to your own doctor’s appointment, only to find a complete stranger there instead.
